Krishiv Bansal began writing A Light in Darkness when he was thirteen years old. After working on the manuscript for two years with his editor, he published the book at the age of fifteen. He likes martial arts, fencing, soccer, playing chess, and traveling all over the world.
Krishiv lives in State College, Pennsylvania, with his family. He aspires to be an innovator and entrepreneur. The book was inspired by Krishiv’s English teacher, who told him to write about a fictional character who went through challenges that changed who he was as a person. Krishiv eventually expanded on that essay and made it a book.
Krishiv plans to study creative writing, human psychology, and business management in college. He hopes to continue writing more adventure stories.
